Our humanitarian aid is going to the battle-torn Donbas.
The truck with humanitarian package No. 22 440 arrived today at the ADRA warehouse in Mukachevo, from where it will continue to the war-torn Donbas. This is the seventeenth food aid truck we have sent to Ukraine.
In addition, the logistics team of our project met in person at the warehouse in Mukachevo. Our aid coordinator for Ukraine, Ludo, finally had the opportunity to meet and discuss logistics with his colleague Roman from the Ukrainian ADRA office, which is in charge of distributing aid in Ukraine. Roman meets people in need on a daily basis and knows their needs best.
He said of our aid: „Your aid packages that you send here from Slovakia are invaluable to the people. Such aid is invaluable for the people in the eastern regions of Ukraine, where everything has been destroyed. There are no supplies and many people are struggling to survive. We need food every day, but we lack electricity, gas, fuel... Could you include a few candles in the boxes?“
