Providing light and heat for Ukrainian hospitals and strengthening the humanitarian corridor
contribute to the rapid reconstruction of medical facilities affected by the war in Ukraine and strengthen the humanitarian corridor between Slovakia and Ukraine. The project activities aim to provide more than 680 000 displaced people in 4 areas with high concentrations of displaced people with access to functional medical facilities. ADRA will take care of the purchase of trucks and the establishment of warehouses for the storage of humanitarian aid.
Provision of generators to restore the functions of medical equipment
We will provide 16 generators to public health institutions in 4 regions of Ukraine in cooperation with local government. We will also provide fuel to the facilities when the generators are handed over.
Strengthening the humanitarian corridor to increase the effectiveness of humanitarian aid
By strengthening the humanitarian corridor, we will enable the efficient delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The project will provide 2 trucks, 1 central warehouse and 4 mobile container depots. Prior to the establishment of the corridor, ADRA will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the local municipalities, which will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the trucks and warehouses.
Situation
The unprecedented attacks by Russian troops on Ukraine's infrastructure are causing repeated power outages and pose a threat to the functionality of basic institutions essential to the life and functioning of society.

The project „Project to support the restoration of public service functions and goods transportation systems in Ukraine,“ with a duration of 3/2023 - 9/2023, is implemented with funds Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MoFA).
Public procurement
ADRA is implementing a project to supply power generators to Ukraine, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan. ADRA, as the procuring entity, is issuing an invitation for binding quotations in the framework of a market survey for the determination of the PHZ and for the purpose of implementing the contract titled „Generators for Ukraine MoFA project“ in accordance with the principles of Act 343/2015 Coll. on public procurement.
The tenderer (supplier) must be authorised to supply the goods and services which are the subject of the market survey.
